Who we are

Tended Sites is the trading name used by Nikola Bojovic and Nemanja Bojovic, independent freelancers based in Serbia. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

We work from Serbia and mainly serve small businesses in the United States. We also work with clients in Serbia, the EU/EEA, the UK and other countries, including clients we meet through freelance platforms.

What this policy covers

This policy covers tendedsites.com and the running of our own business. It is not the privacy policy for websites we build for clients. A client whose website collects personal information generally needs privacy documentation suited to their own business. Where we handle information only on a client's behalf — for example, messages sent through a client's contact form — our agreement with that client may also govern those responsibilities.

Information you give us

When you contact us — through the form on this website or by email — we may collect:

• your name and email address;
• your company or business name and website address;
• your message and your project requirements;
• any other information you choose to share with us.

If you become a client, we also keep the information reasonably needed to deliver our services, communicate about your project, send invoices and keep business records, maintain project records, and handle support and any disputes.

We do not intentionally collect payment-card numbers, online-banking passwords or similar financial credentials through tendedsites.com. Please never send them to us.

Technical information

When you visit tendedsites.com, our hosting and security infrastructure automatically processes technical information, such as:

• your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
• browser and device information;
• the page requested and other request data;
• timestamps and diagnostic data;
• information used to detect and prevent abuse, such as limits on repeated form submissions.

This is needed to deliver the website, keep it working and protect it. We do not use this information to create advertising profiles or to track visitors across unrelated websites.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

At this time, Tended Sites does not intentionally use analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral tracking tools or cross-site tracking on tendedsites.com, and we do not use marketing cookies. Our hosting and security providers may use technically necessary mechanisms to deliver and protect the site.

If we ever add analytics or tracking, we will update this policy — and ask for your consent where the law requires it — before turning them on.

When we contact businesses about our services

When we contact businesses about our services — mainly small businesses in the United States — we may process limited business information that is publicly available or obtained from legitimate business-data providers, such as:

• business name and business category;
• city, state and country;
• website address, and whether the business appears to have a website;
• publicly available business contact details, such as a business email address listed on the business's own website, and where we found them;
• other information reasonably needed to judge whether our services may be relevant.

We use this information to identify businesses that may benefit from our services, personalize our messages, avoid contacting the same business twice, keep a record of our contact attempts, stop follow-ups once a business replies, and keep an opt-out (suppression) list so that businesses that asked not to be contacted are not contacted again.

We keep only the information this work needs. Our outreach messages say who we are and include a way to opt out. We do not sell lead or contact information, and we do not use it to build consumer advertising profiles.

If you don't want us to contact your business, use the opt-out in our email or write to hello@tendedsites.com.

How we use information

• To reply to your inquiry and prepare a quote.
• To deliver, support and maintain the services you ask for.
• To communicate about projects, send invoices and keep business and tax records.
• To contact businesses about our services, as described above.
• To protect the website, our inbox and our business from spam, abuse and fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

Legal bases (Serbia, EU/EEA and UK)

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we rely on:

• steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, such as preparing a quote;
• performance of a contract with you;
• our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business and in communicating with potential business customers, where the law allows it;
• compliance with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules;
• your consent, where the law requires it.

Where the law requires prior consent — for example, for certain electronic marketing messages — we do not treat our legitimate interests as a replacement for that consent.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers. They process information on our behalf to provide their services:

• Vercel — hosting, website delivery, and infrastructure and security processing.
• Zoho Mail — our business email and the storage of our business correspondence.
• Resend — delivery of contact-form and other transactional emails, including processing message content and related delivery information (such as email addresses and delivery status).

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or with professional advisers such as an accountant or lawyer. We do not sell personal information.

International processing

We operate from Serbia. Our service providers may process information in Serbia, the EU/EEA, the United States or other countries. Where the applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate legal or contractual mechanisms may be used.

AI and automated tools

We may use AI-assisted and automated tools internally — for example, to organize business information, develop websites, help draft business communications and automate internal workflows. We remain responsible for this work. We do not use automated decision-making through this website to make decisions about individuals that have legal or similarly significant effects.

How long we keep information

• Inquiries that don't lead to a project: reviewed for deletion around 24 months after the last meaningful communication.
• Client and project records: kept during our working relationship and afterwards as reasonably necessary for tax, accounting, disputes, legal claims and legitimate business records.
• Opt-out (suppression) records: kept as long as reasonably necessary to make sure we don't contact that business again.
• Technical and security logs: kept according to legitimate security needs and our providers' settings.

Information deleted from our active systems may remain for a limited time in our providers' backups.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, such as HTTPS on this website, two-factor authentication on our business accounts and limited access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• have it corrected or deleted;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive your information in a portable format, where applicable;
• withdraw your consent, where consent was the legal basis;
• complain to a data protection authority.

To make a request, email hello@tendedsites.com. We may need to reasonably verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

If you are in Serbia and believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (Poverenik). If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you may complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

United States privacy rights

Certain U.S. states provide additional privacy rights when the relevant law applies to the business processing the information. Not every U.S. state privacy law necessarily applies to Tended Sites.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. Even where a specific state law does not apply to us, we will make reasonable efforts to handle requests about information you provided to us directly.

Children

Tended Sites provides services to businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through this website.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
